Who is Cluster Medizin.NRW?

The Medizin.NRW cluster brings together the various players from the field of innovative medicine to build a powerful strategic network in clinical research. The aim of the cluster is to rapidly transfer findings from research and development into medical care.

NRW is one of the strongest business locations in the healthcare industry in Europe. To further expand this success in global competition, the Medizin.NRW cluster management works hand in hand with companies, universities, research institutions and associations. The cluster's task is to promote the cooperation of all active parties. Medizin.NRW sees itself as an impulse generator, initiator and moderator at the same time and supports networking and the development of cooperation projects.

On behalf of the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia, the DLR project management organisation has been operating the Medizin.NRW office since 2019. The cluster is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MKW) and by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
