At the heart of Europe, the Hauts-de-France region counts more than 1000 companies in the health and nutrition fields. First region for: technical textiles development in health, nutrition and functional ingredients; second for medical and hospital equipment manufacturing; the region is the third for data management and e-health. The region is also rich of: leading-edge research teams with core topics of excellence such as: cancer, cardiometabolic diseases, nutritional innovations and inflammatory bowel diseases; and of key actors in the field of diabetes, personalized medicine, alzheimer, cellular and tissular imaging, parasitic diseases, facial surgery, biocatalysis, etc. Among other assets of the region is the presence of key healthcare institutions such as the Lille University Hospital, the Amiens Picardy Hospital and the Oscar Lambret National Cancer Center; clusters and incubators such as Eurasanté and the Nutrition and Health Longevity cluster and also internationally renowned schools and universities.

Our mission is to encourage economic actors to innovate through partnering with the academic sector for example but also by stimulating them to have an international ambition and to grow by increasing interactions with other european economic actors.

Eurasanté is a cluster of excellence for health and nutrition activities in Hauts-de-France, at the 2nd rank in France for medical equipment's production and at the 3rd rank in France in e-Health and Data Management for Health.
